Students contemplating the pursuit of a doctoral program that is integrative, trans-disciplinary, and which spans concerns in social, ethical, and scientific domains, ...and who are comfortable working in an "adaptive framework" are encouraged to apply to our IGERT program.
Note that the application process involves applying to both the University and the IGERT program separately.
Since doctoral students are admitted to the University through a department, not to the IGERT program directly, if you are not currently a UF graduate student, you should contact a faculty member in our list of affiliated faculty whose interests and departmental affiliation are consistent with your interests and make an application to the University of Florida Graduate School through an academic department. See http://rgp.ufl.edu/gradschool/ for Graduate School information.
Applications will be accepted through February 1, 2009. We begin reviewing applications in January of each year and offer fellowships in May. Students will be notified by E-mail no later than March 15, 2009. Early applications are encouraged.
THE SELECTED STUDENTS WILL HAVE TO REPORT TO THE UNIVERSITY BY MAY 1, 2009
Contact us at any time if you have questions.
